The Student Sunshine Committee has been busy preparing activities for St. Patrick's Day at Lowville Middle School!
We hosted a game in the middle school where students had to find six leprechauns hidden in very difficult to notice spots in the hallways. The game started Tuesday morning, and by ninth period, the last leprechaun was found. Two eighth graders, Collin and Landon, were lucky enough to find one each, while three seventh graders and one sixth grader found one each as well. Thank you to Megan for helping me create the six leprechauns!
On Wednesday, our next activity commenced: Guess the Gold! Carli cutely designed and decorated our jars for each grade level. Students have the opportunity to guess the number of chocolate gold coins in the jar by the close of the day on Monday, and if guessed correctly, winners will be announced on St. Patrick's Day next week!
After school on Monday, March 16, many students signed up to decorate the hallways in preparation for St. Patrick's Day! Thank you to Annabella for helping me staple several dozen rainbow paper chains. I'm looking forward to decorating, but I'm even more excited about a surprise photo booth with props that I'm setting up for students that morning!
